Our Story
Ameya started as an idea in Edmonton, AB, to challenge whether we could get a 360-degree assessment of the participant in their day-to-day life. We wanted to go beyond the traditional approaches to managing chronic illness and create tools that provided a more detailed look at how these illnesses impact participants’ lifestyles. We were allowed to find out when we received funding to start converting our idea into a practical tool that users could access from the comforts of their homes.
Our Solutions
Suppose we take a look at our current situation when it comes to the global healthcare system. We can see a growing problem with our ability to handle the chronic illness epidemic as the costs of managing these illnesses in the aging population continues to grow exponentially year to year.
The solution consists of producing active and effective management of these health conditions to reduce hospitalization costs and improve the response to treatment. The Ameya application will put these principles into effect, saving significant time and money for healthcare systems, hospitals, insurance companies, and pharmaceuticals. These changes allow Ameya to, more importantly, give back to society, helping people who are among the most vulnerable by bringing forth small but powerful changes to their daily quality of life.
Ameya will be launching in Q3 of this year, 2023.
